The problem
Deciding what to watch means opening four tabs: one for the rating, one for the synopsis, one for reviews, one to work out which service actually has it. The information exists; it's just scattered.
What I built
Moviemix pulls all of it into one view off the TMDB API — details, ratings, reviews and streaming availability on a single page per title, with search and browse across both films and TV. Built in React with a focus on getting from search to decision in as few steps as possible.
The outcome
Four tabs become one page. The interface is deliberately thin — the API does the work, the UI just gets out of the way.
One page per decision
Rating, synopsis, reviews and availability sit together rather than across four services.
Film and TV in one model
Both media types share a single browse and search path.
